A question raised from a game and how I try to solve it

Recently I was playing an online game—league of legends. I can play it smoothly without lagging. The ping (delay) is only about 25 ms. But when I tried to open my browser to get information from its website, I found it was impossible. How can I play online game smoothly in such a bad internet condition! I was confused and wanted to find the answer.

Firstly I opened some other web pages and find out that I cannot get a rapid response. That is to say, my internet condition is really bad. Then I was going to test other games to see whether other games are in the same condition. It reminded me of another game—Maple story. One of my friends once recommended this online game to me and said it can be run smoothly in RV. I installed this game immediately to see whether it was true. As expected, it can also be run smoothly. At this time I can ensure that this is not a coincident.

So what caused this? I was wondering. Suddenly an idea came to my mind. “Is the game data transported by IPv6? If it is, then this is reasonable. I tried to verify this. I opened some web pages that only support IPv6 and found nothing. The router of RV does not support IPv6. I was more confused and interested, but I cannot come out with any ideas. So I just asked for help from others. I asked many people but only few responded. Some said that their online games cannot be run smoothly. Their games were Chinese games the servers of which are in China. So I deduced that my situation was only applied to Singapore games. That is to say, it is nothing about the net channel. I was surprised to find this because when I played this game in China it required many net resources. Even when my downloading speed was 200KB/s the ping cannot reach 40. The game was the same game and the only difference was its agent. How come? So I thought maybe my conclusion was wrong and I found some reasons to prove it was wrong. Maybe there were more net channels and maybe I had neglected some other ways. Till now, I am still confused. How can I drive such a big truck in such a narrow track! Anybody can help me?
