The most interesting playoffs picture I can imagine in the western conference

If the playoffs started today, the picture will be as follows- (1) San Antonio vs. (8) Denver, (2) Oklahoma City vs. (7) Dallas, (3)Los Angeles Lakers vs. (6) Houston(4)Los Angeles Clippers vs. (5) Memphis. It is as excited as usual, yet they are almost predictable. Spurs, Lakers are relatively more likely to beat each opponent. Thunders and Memphis seem to have more chances as well. With roughly ten games for each team left, the rankings can change, of course. As I imagine, it can be even more interesting, if the picture is like the following- San Antonio vs. Dallas, Oklahoma City vs. Houston, Lakers vs. Clippers, Denver vs. Memphis.
Mavs vs. Spurs, one of the most classic matchup, can be even more sensational this season. As the defending champion, Mavs have done a bad job in the regular season. It is out of question that the eighth ranking in the western conference is not satisfying. As an old saying goes, “Never underestimate the heart of a champion”. Their roster is still fine and they remain a awesome competitor. Spurs has surpassed Thunders and holds the first position. Duncan considers their lineup as the best one he has ever experienced. Though I argue he cannot be so optimistic, the matchup would be very very interesting. It would also be very very hard to predict.
Oklahoma City vs. Houston is the most predictable one. However, Dragic abrupt rise and Camby’s arrival are making noticeable change for this Lowry-loss Rockets. The chemical reaction seems great so far. Don’t forget, they have good scorer Scola and Martin. They can be a troublemaker.
Lakers vs. Clippers would be the most attractive one. There are altogether four all-star starts of the western conference. The L.A battles so far have not let us down in the slightest. It would surely be really funny. Truth to be told, I am quite looking forward to it. More interestingly, the players do not even need to take planes, because all the battles will take place at Staples Center. Therefore, they are less likely to get tired and the battle would be more spectacular.
If Denver remains healthy, Memphis would probably suffer a lot. Denver possesses many things. They have experiences, a good coach and a killer Gallinari. Nobody can look down upon them, though their ranking is not that ideal. It is worth pointing out that it would be less excited if Memphis is replaced by Lakers. Because I believe Lakers can handle Denver easily. On the other hand, Memphis vs. Clippers would not be as interesting as Clippers vs. Lakers as well.
All I have mentioned above are merely my preference. Anyway, it won’t take long to see the real picture.
