About the unrest in Syrian

Yesterday, I encounter my classmate in the online chat group. They were discussing the Syrian crisis at that time. I suddenly realized that I haven’t care about the international situation after I come to Singapore.
To figure out what they are talking about, I searched about the news in both Baidu and Google for further information. It did surprise me a lot when I got what the crisis actually is. This event is very similar with the crisis in Libya in the last year. Both of them are about, financial problem, revolution, and interference from other countries.
Now, the European Union has really carried out their sanction against Syrian. Besides, another sanction also has already been put forward in the United Nations.  However, China and Russia, which have both vetoed UN resolutions on Syria, voted against the proposal. That make the sanction of UN cannot be carried out in a short time.
As the saying goes, never rise early without proper profit. Though they use human rights as an excuse to interfere the politic in Syria, what they really want is get more benefit for themselves. As far as I know, after the unrest in Libya, they did earn some extra money in the war and got chances to suppress some newly-emerging country. They just want to achieve their strategic, no matter how many people will suffer from their so-called sanction and the war they made.
In another hand, what if they do not interfere in those events? It seems things wouldn’t be better because if the autocracy was not overthrown, people will still lead a poor and miserable life.
This event reminds me of a Chinese verse, it means whether it is prosperous or in recession, the average people still suffers…

  1. To make more benefits is the rule. People can easily figure out whether it is an excuse but no one stand out and point it out because they all know this is the rule and it is normal.

  2. The country can benefit a lot from war, the citizen, however, suffer a lot.
